Short version: Palabrio collects nothing. There are no accounts, no server, no ads and no analytics. Your progress stays on your own device and never reaches us. The app works without an internet connection.

This Privacy Policy explains how Palabrio (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles your information. Palabrio is a mobile word game where you connect letters to fill in crosswords.

• Palabrio, we, us, our: the developer of the Palabrio application, responsible for this policy.
• Application or Service: the Palabrio mobile application.
• Country: Uruguay, where the owner and operator of Palabrio is located.
• User: any person who downloads, installs or uses Palabrio.

What information do we collect?

None. Palabrio does not collect, transmit or store any personal data on a server. Specifically, we do not ask for and do not receive:

• Your name, email address, password, phone number or any credentials — the app has no accounts and no sign-in.
• Your location, contacts, photos, microphone, camera or any other system data.
• Device identifiers or advertising identifiers.
• Usage statistics or crash reports.

What is stored on your device?

So you can pick up where you left off, Palabrio saves a few items only in your phone's local storage:

• Your progress (how many levels you completed).
• The difficulty you chose and your level streak.
• The words you have discovered.

This data never leaves your device and is removed when you uninstall the app. Depending on your phone's settings, the operating system (iOS or Android) may include it in its own backups (for example iCloud or Google), which is governed by Apple's or Google's policy and not ours.

Internet connection

Palabrio does not need an internet connection and does not use one. The levels, sounds and word definitions are bundled inside the app. Nothing you do in the game sends information over the network.

Who do we share your information with?

Nobody. Because we do not collect any information, there is nothing to share, sell, rent or trade. We have no advertisers, no data brokers and no third-party SDKs inside the app.

Your download of Palabrio is processed by the app store (Apple App Store or Google Play) under its own privacy policy. That transaction is between you and the store; we may only receive anonymous, aggregated download figures.

Do we use analytics, advertising or tracking?

No. Palabrio contains no analytics, crash reporting or advertising tools and no cookies. We do not request Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission because we do not track you.

Third-party content: definitions

The definitions shown when you tap a word come from Wiktionary (Spanish edition) and are distributed under the CC BY-SA license. They are bundled in the app and read offline. Some definitions may contain errors.

How long do we keep your information?

We keep nothing, so there is no retention period. The app's local data stays on your phone until you uninstall Palabrio.

Your rights

Data protection laws give you rights of access, rectification, deletion and portability over your personal data. Since we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to disclose, correct, delete or export. If you still want to exercise a right or confirm that we hold nothing about you, write to us at the contact address below and we will confirm in writing.

How do we protect your information?

The strongest protection is architectural: information that never leaves your device cannot be intercepted or leaked from our side. The app has no server component and no account system, so there is no user database that could be breached.

Children's privacy

Palabrio is a game suitable for all audiences that does not collect personal data from anyone, including children. It has no ads, no in-app purchases, no chat and no social features.

International transfers

We operate no servers and transfer no data to any country.

Governing law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Uruguayan courts for any dispute relating to this policy.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the app or for legal reasons. We will publish the updated version on this page with a new date. If a future version of Palabrio introduces a feature that collects data or needs a network, we will state it clearly here and in the app before that feature ships.
